What is ReelShort?

ReelShort is a short-drama service available through its website and app. Its US App Store listing names New Leaf Publishing, Inc. as the seller; that is the store-publisher field, not a full account of the brand’s ownership.[1][3]

The title guide below covers Bound by Honor, the Aria and Luca story. We do not claim a complete ReelShort catalogue.

How many episodes are free on ReelShort?

ReelShort’s coin guide describes a typical opening of 8–13 free episodes, while another official guide mentions 8–15. These examples are not a fixed allowance for every series or account.[2][3]

Check the episode list for your selected drama. Immediately free playback and episodes unlocked through rewards are different forms of access.

What does a ReelShort episode cost?

ReelShort’s coin guide uses 60 coins as a typical standard-episode example and 500 coins for $4.99 as an entry pack. Treat these as publisher examples, not a guaranteed current price for your account.[2]

At those example rates, 50 locked episodes require 3,000 coins. Six 500-coin packs would cost $29.94 before any applicable tax. That is a worked example, not a quote for a named series; different unlock costs, pack offers or reward balances change the calculation.

Before paying, add the displayed coin requirements for your remaining episodes and compare the packs actually offered. Sources reviewed on 25 October 2026; no in-app purchase test was performed.

How to watch ReelShort without paying

Official guides describe rewarded ads, daily check-ins and tasks as ways to earn access or reward coins. Check your app’s rewards screen for the available actions and limits. We do not publish a fixed daily allowance.[3]

Read any validity period shown for your reward balance. Earning coins does not automatically mean you can finish a whole series immediately.

Coins vs Premium

Compare the coin total for the story you want with the subscription offer shown to your account. For a subscription, check included access, the billing period, renewal charge and cancellation terms.

There is no tested break-even point in this guide. Watching more often does not by itself prove that a particular plan is cheaper; its coverage and your actual usage matter.
